Pre Year Abroad: On the outside I’m all like, “Oh you know. Just gonna go travel and work for a year.” On the inside I’m all like, “What the hell have I gotten myself into?”
Weeks 1-2: Oh my God!!!!!!!! This is the BEST PLACE EVERRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Weeks 3-4: Hey new bestie, let’s go out and get drunk tonight! Check out the local scenery if you know what I mean.
Weeks 7-10: Ahhh. I’m getting really settled in. I have a job and friends. Oh! And I finally got control of my food:booze ratio. So that’s good.
Weeks 11-20: Hmmm… I’m thinking I might should go traveling. Backpacking anyone?
Weeks 20-25: No, like, I really can’t go out. I don’t have the money. I’m poor remember?
Week 26: HALF WAY SUCKAAAASSS!!!!! Can’t believe I’ve been away for half a freaking year!
Week 27: Shit, this is only half way?
Weeks 28-32: Work, food, booze, sleep. Work, booze, sleep. Food, sleep. Booze. Work?
Weeks 32-40: I have made some fantastic friends. I love them. I love drinking with them. I love hanging out with them. I love the way they come from all over the world. SO glad they are here with me.
Weeks 45-47: No, no. NO. NO! NOOO!!! THIS ISN’T HAPPENING!
Weeks 48-50: I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY I CAN’T STAY!!!
Week 52: Bye y’all!!! Yes, of course I will come visit!!!
