Nepal

I’m actually not one to just sit on Facebook all day, so I only just NOW (like in the last four minutes) found out what happened in Nepal.

My heart is broken.

No one can predict what Mother Nature has up her sleeve. I am deeply sadden to learn of the deaths of so many people.

Those of you that know me, know I have been talking about volunteering in Nepal for the last couple of years. It’s a beautiful country with so much wonder. Mt. Everest stands tall in the background constantly threatening and amazing those below.

Please be in prayers for those affected. I know some of the people I follow on Instagram were headed to Base Camp recently, but I haven’t kept up to see if they were still there presently or not.

As a traveler, I am in love with the world – all of it. I’m praying for the locals and the travelers and the families connected to those affected by this devastating event.
