BUT!! I’m sick again. πŸ™ This really happens to me all the time because I have the worlds worst sinuses and allergies. It started yesterday as we were flying here. I noticed I Β was sniffling and my eyes were sore, but I powered through. By the end of the day yesterday, I was blowing my nose and feeling pretty poor. I thought that it may have just been the time difference on my body, so I didn’t take any medicine.

Then I work up this morning….

I was coughing stuff up (gross I know… Sorry yall), blowing my nose, head ache, body sore, everything. I shot some Flonase up my nose But it was too late.

Daddy and I left Phoenix for the Grand Canyon at 7.00am Arizona Time. This event was the whole reason for me coming to Arizona. I’ve always wanted to see the Grand Canyon. I had to power through.

We made Β tour reservations with the Pink Jeep Tour Company and set out for the Grand Canyon.

It did not disappoint.

It quite literally is a giant hole in the ground, but it’s so much more than that. Imagine a rainbow earth bending and shaping before you diving straight down into the depths of the unknown. It was breath taking.
Our guide drove us around the south and east rim showing us great spots for photos. I’m glad we went that way because my dad hadn’t seen the East Rim. The other two times he had been there, he’d only seen the South Rim.
The Pink Jeep Tours were fantastic!!! Our guide, James, was funny and very knowledgable. If you’re looking for a unique guided tour of the Grand Canyon, I would recommend looking them up. Their Grand Canyon office is located in the National Geographic Visitor Center, so you know it’s good. ?

As of now, Daddy and I are driving back town to Phoenix for the night. Tomorrow we have a TON of stuff to get done, but I’m sure we will. Sick or not, I’m going to enjoy Arizona. It’s great so far! Two more days!

  1. Love the pictures and the updates! We saw the Grand Canyon for literally one hour as we were driving cross-country from NC to WA. I definitely need to go back to explore it in more detail. Sorry you’re not feeling 100% though! πŸ˜›

  2. Amazing!!! Loved the Grand Canyon. I want to hike across the whole thing next time (need to build my stamina first I think lol)
