What a wonderful day it is?! This great American tradition has always been a part of my life. I’ve shared Thanksgiving with family, friends, and strangers.
Last year, I spent Thanksgiving in Ireland celebrating with new friends. It was so much fun to share our families traditions with one another and to even bring in a few locals to celebrate with us.
Thanksgiving this year will take place at home with family, and I couldn’t be happier.
Traveling is a wonderful life full of adventure and great experiences, but when on the road, you do miss out on a lot of things from home. In the last three years, I’ve only spent one 4th of July at home, and that is my most FAVORITE holiday ever. It was so hard to miss both Thanksgiving and Christmas last year, and it’s looking like I will miss them both again next year. With that in mind, I am so thankful to have this holiday season.
So, to everyone out there, I hope today is full of turkey, ham, and dressing. May you laugh with your family and friends. I hope you don’t miss too many people because I know it is easy to do so. I hope you slip into a deep slumber with food belly. May you all take part in this wonderful tradition and remember the things you are thankful for.
I hope you all have the happiest of Thanksgivings wherever you are in the world.
